LONE RIDER ADV TENT my first thought.
The third tent in the product range specialises for motorbike travellers and adventure riders. I\'m not saying there are not good tents for the average joe, but Lone Rider always focused their product development on the rider more than the hobbyist camper.
LONE RIDER ADV TENT
Lucky me, to get my hands on the new LONE RIDER ADV TENT. The third tent in the product range specialises for motorbike travellers and adventure riders. I\'m not saying there are not good tents for the average Joe, but Lone Rider always focused their product development on the rider more than the hobbyist camper.
I\'m no fanboy for this brand, in fact, and maybe their biggest critic as I\'m a long-time user of the MOTO TENT from the same company. Using the MOTO TENT for the last three years solely on my motorbike tours allowed me to have a good understanding of what I expect from a specialist motorbike travel tend.
LONE RIDER has established itself as one of the leading companies for motorbike travelling equipment.
The highest spec materials are being used to build products of extreme durability. All this doesn\'t come cheap, so these products are placed in the top end of the market.
Let's have a closer look at the LoneRider ADV tent.
I know I\'m dealing with the same quality product I Head expected from this company. Everything is exceptionally well-made and finished. The seams at double-stitched glued and sealed. The aluminium hardware is the same aircraft-grade aluminium as used in the other tents. Extremely light and flexible but sturdy enough to keep the shape. Setting up the tent was not a problem as the instructions are sewn into the top of the compression bag. That included GEI ropes are very strong, and the pecks are made of the same high-grade aluminium. One exciting and maybe life-saving touch is the inclusion of an SOS groundsheet. This can only be a good thing in case of an emergency. Please check out my video where I\'m explaining my first thoughts on this tent.
LONE RIDER ADV TENT shows his heritage. Lone Rider comes up with solutions for the severe motorbike traveller. The flexibility of this tent and the practical size make the ADV Tent a must-have for any serious adventure rider
"There is nothing more important than knowing your gear is doing what you expect it to do"
I would say "almost perfect." So far, I could not find any faults in material or build quality? everything about this product is executed to the highest standard. The only thing you have to take into consideration is the separation between the inner tent and the rain cover. Setting up the tent in heavy rain will expose the inner tent to the elements.
Setup up the tent could not be easier, assuming you read the instruction included at the top of the bag. It is a very simple process and should not be a challenge for anyone. Groundsheet down, Aluminum poles in and top sheet on, done. It is then that you discover the flexibility of this tent. It's not just the one size fit it all tent. I\'m so used to the setup and be done approach. The concept of the LONE RIDER ADV TENT is so radically different. You have so many options to make this tent work for you.
