Choosing the right Motorbike

When selecting the perfect Motorbike, it's all about me making the right choice for a safe and thrilling ride. With so many options out there, it can feel overwhelming. But taking the time to research and think about my needs is crucial. After all, the proper Motorbike isn't just a purchase – it's an investment in years of happiness and adventure.

Recently, faced with the decision between my trusty BMW 1250 and my older BMW 1200, I found myself in a quandary. The 1250 offers all the modern conveniences and power I could ask for, while the 1200 holds a special place in my heart, with its character and charm.

choosing the motorbike - no easy task - maybe the BMW 1200GS?

Ultimately, I opted for Herman, my BMW 1200. Something about its timeless appeal and rugged reliability speaks to me, especially for the journey ahead. Sure, it may not have all the bells and whistles of its newer brother, but it's proven itself time and time again on countless adventures.

In my case, the usual criteria like price, weight and power were not the deciding factors.
I learned my lessons after buying a 1250 from New and inflicting a fast amount of mileage onto the bike quickly. It is not a great return on investment but a massive return on fun, adventures and memories.
So, armed with my trusty BMW 1200, I'm ready to hit the road confidently, knowing that I've made the right choice. And as I get ready for this new chapter of exploration and discovery, I'm excited to see where the ride takes me.

Herman, it is, then. Stubborn like a mule, rattling like a bucket of bolts, the 2007 BMW GS is an adventure Monster.
