Border with Italy and Pass Museum The Top Mountain Crosspoint, a remarkable, inspiring building of an area of 6,060 sqm high up in the mountains. You will be surprised to find this building near the top of the mountain. Located in the building is a restaurant with a panoramic terrace that offers views of the ski area Hochgurgl and Obergurgl and the Oetztaler Alps.
After a long ride, the perfect stop to enjoy some excellent local food. The Piece de resistance has to be the motorcycle museum. You will be blown away by the sheer number of outstanding and historical motorbikes and cars. The presentation and layout of the displays are tasteful and shows every exhibit in the best possible light. If you a motorbike fan, make sure you plan ahead and allow plenty of time.
The Experience
When you are riding from the Austrian Alps into Italy, Timmelsjoch to Passo Rombo or the other way around and all the way down these endless winding roads, what is not to like? You will love it, I sure did. But whatever you do, under no circumstances miss a visit to the Motorcycle Museum in the mountains.
The experience was breathtaking as the journey itself. I wish I could be there again. This was one of those rides you can't get out of your head. Fog, rain, and sunshine within minutes of each other, winding roads and bends one after another. If you are a rider, you know what I\'m talking about.
