About Me

Welcome to MOTOTravel, my very personal page dedicated to the world of motorbike travelling.

Welcome to MOTOTravel, my very personal page dedicated to the world of motorbike travelling.

I'm passionate about MOTOTravel, having grown up in the Bavarian mountains, where I was surrounded by the beauty of the outdoors from an early age.

I was crazy about anything outdoors, and as a child, I broke my leg during a skiing trip with my Dad. That didn't stop us from pursuing our love for skiing and ice hockey in the winter and dirt biking and touring in the summer. Spending our youth in the outdoors made us who we are today, and we never complained about being bored.
Living in a motorbike country, I quickly progressed from 50cc mopeds to a 500cc Yamaha XT, which I absolutely adored.

This bike allowed me to explore Europe to the fullest, from Germany to Greece and all the way down to Morocco, passing through France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and the former Yugoslavia. I spent my youth travelling and exploring; those were some of the best times of my life.

Back in the day, travelling wasn't about having a strict itinerary or spending lavishly. It was about exploring and experiencing new things with friends, sharing what little we had, and ensuring that no one was left behind. We'd go for a pizza to Italy on a sunny Saturday afternoon and supplement our trips with whatever we found along the way.

Times have changed, but my love for travelling remains the same. Although it may not be as easy to travel with just a sleeping bag for four weeks anymore, the adventurous spirit still burns within me. MOTOTravel is the result of years of experience and passion for exploring new places and connecting with people from different cultures.

Whether you're a seasoned motorbike traveller or someone looking to venture into this world, I invite you to join me on a journey through some of the most breathtaking routes and share my experiences, tips, and insights along the way.

So, pack your bags, strap on your helmet, and let's hit the road with MOTOTravel!

Hey there, it's me - a true adventurer and a restless soul.

I'm always on the lookout for new opportunities and experiences, and I try to embrace everything that life has to offer - the good, the bad, and everything in between. I mean, who knows how much time we really have, right? So I'm committed to making the most of every moment and living life to the fullest.

For me, being back on the road is everything.
There's just something about the freedom and excitement of travel that speaks to my soul. Even though I'm getting older, my sense of adventure is still as strong as ever. That's why I created my website - to share my stories and experiences with other like-minded adventurers and hopefully inspire a few people along the way.
So if you're looking for a bit of inspiration or just some good travel stories, be sure to check out my website. And who knows? Maybe we'll even cross paths on the road someday. Until then, keep that adventurous spirit burning bright, and always remember to ride safely.

Maybe someday we meet on the road.
